Welcome to the Taj Mahal Community Hub

Taj Mahal Door.jpg

The former Taj Mahal in Machynlleth opened as a multi-purpose community space in 2023 to provide support especially concerning energy, food, isolation and well-being.

Some regular services and activities have been co-located in the building, including Y Pantri - Arbed Bwyd Machynlleth Food Surplus (every Wednesday 10 - 7 and Saturday morning 10-1), Eginiad Community Dinners every Thursday 12-2 and Stwdio Dyfi’s local radio station Radio Dyfi, streaming live every Wednesday and Friday evening.

The space offers information and signposting to the many services including CAMAD, Banc Bwyd Bro Ddyfi Food Bank, Advice Mid Wales and Community Connector and has a drop-in for advice every Wednesday 11-1.

If you are interested in getting involved, as a volunteer, or running activities, or just hiring the space get in contact or drop by.

The Bro Ddyfi Volunteer Centre is now based at the Hub, we have a drop in every Wednesday 10 - 4PM for advice and help on volunteering opportunities at the Hub and throughout Bro Ddyfi.
